Introducing a snack made with spring roll wrappers, "Harumaki no kawa".
Have you ever heard of an 'épi'?
It's a bread often seen next to baguettes in bakeries, on each side with spikes rising up.
With spring roll wrappers, you can make an ‘épi’. Just 5 minutes baked in a toaster. Surprising, isn’t it?
Here are 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Prepare bacon, Parmesan cheese, and optionally corn or edamame.
Put them on a spring roll wrapper. Roll and seal with water.
Step 2: Cut at an angle into the roll every 2 cm, about three-quarters deep.
Step 3: To shape an épi, bend the cuts alternately left and right. Brush with olive oil and toast for 5 minutes.
Here, the épi is ready. Please enjoy.
I hope you'll try making it and look forward to hearing your impressions."
