Ondoku can be used for free, but if you want to use it extensively, you will need to subscribe to a paid plan.

Payment Timing for Paid Plans

Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions.

"When is the payment for the monthly plan?"

"Is it better to subscribe at the beginning of the month, or is there a recommended time to subscribe?"

Some customers may have these questions.

Ondoku's monthly plans are billed approximately every 30 days.

• Even at the beginning of the month
• Even in the middle of the month
• Even at the end of the month

No matter when you subscribe, you will be automatically billed approximately 30 days later.

Therefore, there is no need to wait for a specific time to subscribe.

The moment you want to use it is the recommended time to subscribe.

Is the automatic renewal for paid plans exactly every 30 days?

When crossing months that have 28 or 31 days, payments may not occur exactly every 30 days. Billing may happen on the 29th day or the 31st day.
The exact next payment date will be stated in the email from PayPal sent at the time of purchase, so please check there.

If you want to use it for only one month, or if you don't want to renew but want to use it until the last minute, please cancel early. You can continue to use your current plan until the next renewal date even after cancellation.

About Plan Changes

When using a monthly plan, you may find yourself using it more than expected and want to change your plan.

To change your plan, you must first cancel your current plan and then subscribe to a new plan.

Example: Basic Plan → Cancel from the Settings page → Subscribe to the Value Plan from the Purchase page

　　Free Plan (No cancellation/withdrawal needed) → Purchase the desired plan from the Purchase page

To cancel, log in to Ondoku and go to Settings → "Cancel" at the bottom of the page.

Please note that when changing plans, your current character count will not be carried over to the new plan.

The moment you re-subscribe to a new plan, your character count will become the character limit of the new plan.

Example: Basic Plan (200,000 characters/month) → Value Plan (450,000 characters/month)

If you have 100,000 characters remaining 10 days before the next renewal but change to the Value Plan

→ The Value Plan will be applied, the character balance will become 450,000 characters, and the next billing will be approximately 30 days after the first payment.

This is how it works.

Therefore, if you want to change from one paid plan to another paid plan:

• The day before the next payment
• When you have used up all your characters

is the recommended timing for plan changes.

The value for switching from a free plan to a paid plan is the same regardless of when you subscribe.

The character count for the paid plan will be maintained until the next renewal date even after cancellation.

On the renewal date, it will be updated to the character count for a free member.

If you continue to use audio created while subscribed to a paid plan (or after cancellation until the next renewal date), the same rules as free members will apply, and credit attribution will be required.
